| | My daughter came home with lice from pre-school. We tried every shampoo available. She then passed on the lice to her two sisters. We used every lice product on the market. Nothing worked. I googled lice solutions and an ad for the Robi Comb came up. The robi did what no other comb could do. It killed all of the lice within hours. It zaps the lice. It does not kill the egg, but it kills the nits and the live ones. I would gladly do a testimonal for this product. All of the money I spent on bad shampoos that didn't work--was a waste. | Ok, so my husband got lice from his sister's son. I didn't know that his sister and his son had lice until later and believe it or not it spread on home to him and to me. So we seen this Robi Comb and purchased it because I have heard how horrible it is to get lice out and take care of it. I used the Robi Comb and it beeped many times (which indicated that I obviously had lice) so I got treatment and took care of it. So now I am still so freaked out that my husband and I had lice that I use this Robi Comb to detect if I have lice every once in a while. I haven't been itching and I checked today just to do it and it is beeping but I have no lice. I think this product is defective and inaccurate. I mean it beeped when I had it before but is also beeping when I don't have it! I guess it could be useful if it was a just "in case" scenario. Although, I don't know if it really works. When I did have lice before and I used it all of the time it really didn't take care of it so I bought this Licefreee spray that works wonders. Honestly, I have extremely thick hair and you can leave this in even sleep with it and it kills everything. I have never seen a spray before but this is the way to go. It is simple and easy and can be purchased at Wal Greens for $9. I know, expensive, but a time saver and you have the option of pulling out nits but it isn't required which makes it extremely simple and awesome. Just spray and go and you are done! I just think the Robi Comb needs more work before everyone says that it wonderful and takes care of lice because I don't think it does.

| | Yes it works. But you will need other products too - to get out the nits. It does help find the bugs and zaps them, but I did find it would also zap dandruff and if it is stuck to your head it feels strange. This is great for peace of mind for me, since my daughter has had lice I have been itchy everywhere. I run this through my hair just to check... and so far I have been lice free. |

while this product seems to have great reviews, I found that it worked about 4 times and then stopped working. It was used as was suggested----but now no longer works.
I would not purchase another one. |

| The Robicomb is the best tool against a lice infestation available on the market. Our 7 yr old brought this home from 1st grade and school has sent numerous letters home other infestations. We chose the NIX treatment over RID and purchased the Robicomb. The gate between the tines is smaller than that of the other lice combs in the shampoo products. Unlike the lice shampoo's, that only effect the nervous system of lice/louse, thus killing them over time, the Robicomb kills lice/louse on contact as well as gets the nymph's as they hatch. The Robicomb also is effective at removing some of the larger NIT, however, true NIT removal has to be done strand by strand, hair by hair and it is a long, tedious, horrific process.
Pop in a double AA battery, turn the switch "ON" and it makes a high pitch sound. Run the comb through the hair, against the scalp and when a lice/louse comes in contact with the electrified tines, the sound stops so you know you have a captor. Flush them down the toilet when caught.
The Robicomb is the single best lice/louse removal tool we can find. It is excellent at checking future infestations and if you have kids, it should be right next to the thermometer in a drawer.
